I have been producing swords for over 40 years, starting after I left school. When I became a historical re-enactor I was particularly interested in the Dark Age, Medieval and Tudor periods. This encouraged me to expand my scope to cover a wide range of weapons. By now I have made many pieces beside just swords, including seaxes, axes, polearms, daggers, cutlery, historic tools and more.

I have made weapons for film and television productions and also for museums, but most of my time is spent producing swords and other equipment for re-enactment and it is for this that I have developed a world wide reputation with a client base that covers Europe and stretches as far away as the USA.

In recent years I have developed a strong link with the HEMA community, and have expanded some of my work into this area producing sparring swords and daggers.
